The Customer Service Representative is available to assist with any questions regarding billing and collection, underwriting or claims issues, oversight of receivables from our agents and insureds, and deductible recoveries.  This position will also assist in performing special requests, as needed.


Position & Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and accurate customer service on all claims and underwriting related issues to agents and brokers
  • Process all customer needs, (i.e. address changes, basic policy questions)
  • Work within claims system to research invoices paid
  • Ensure compliance within property & casualty guidelines
  • Understanding of all payment flow processes
  • Initiate the process for returning premium and overpayments
  • Communicate billing and collection issues with agents, insureds, and the Underwriting department
  • Process credit card payments for policy holders
  • Various projects as assigned by supervisor/manager


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • An Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Insurance knowledge/experience and desire for insurance career is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus
  • The ability to work accurately with detailed numerical information
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word
